## What is wrong

On certain AMG S63 models, the engine may stall due to faulty software in the Engine Control Unit \(ECU\). Irregular RPM at idle could lead to unintentional engine shut\-down prior to a vehicle stop. If this occurs, the driver may falsely interpret the unintentional engine shut down as part of the ECO start/stop system, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the ECU Software.
