A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2013410
- Reported: 2013\-11\-19
- Component: Steering
- Notification type: Safety Mfr
- Units potentially affected: 3

## What is wrong

On certain vehicles equipped with Direct Adaptive Steering \(steer\-by\-wire\), cold weather operation could cause the system to malfunction on startup, and delay the engagement of the mechanical backup system. This would result in a loss of steering, which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Direct Adaptive Steering module.
