- Campaign number: 2000020
- Manufacturer's number: 99513
- Reported: 2000\-01\-18
- Component: Brakes
- Notification type: Safety Mfr

## What is wrong

On certain vehicles, the s\-cam on the front drive axles may experience interference with the knuckle stud as the brake lining wears. This would prevent the s\-cam from rotating through its full range of motion thereby restricting the amount of braking force transmitted from the brake shoe linings to the brake drums. Correction: Interfering knuckle studs will be shortened.
