What is wrong
On certain Saab 900 convertible, the steering column shaft may have been misaligned at the time of installation. This misalignment could cause a fatigue failure in one section of the shaft, with a subsequent loss of steering control. Correction: dealers will inspect and/or replace the steering column assembly.
