## What is wrong

ON VEHICLES WITH TRW POWER AND MANUAL STEERING GEARS AND SHEPPARD POWER GEARS, THE UPPER AND LOWER PINCH BOLT ON ALL STEERING PITMAN ARMS FOR TRW POWER AND MANUAL GEARS AND THE LOWER PINCH BOLT ON SHEPPARD POWER GEARS WERE POSSIBLY EMBRITTLED AND NOT TORQUED CORRECTLY. THIS COULD LEAD TO PROGRESSIVE LOOSENING AND/OR BOLT FAILURE RESULTING IN POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH.

CORRECTION: NEW PINCH BOLTS AND WASHERS WILL BE INSTALLED AND PROPERLY TORQUED ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES.
