## What is wrong

ON TRUCKS WITH MACK FA\(W\)616 OR 617 SERIES FRONT AXLE, THE CROSS STEERING LEVERS MAY BE IMPROPERLY HEAT\-TREATED. THIS COULD REDUCE THEIR FATIQUE LIFE AND RESULT IN FAILURE. SUCH A FAILURE COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.

CORRECTION:NEW LEVERS WILL BE INSTALLED.
