## What is wrong

THE PLASTIC SECONDARY HOOD LATCH DUST SHIELD COULD BE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED WHEN THE LATCH MECHANISM IS SERVICED. THIS COULD AFFECT THE NORMAL OPERATION OF THE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH MECHANISM. A SEIZED PRIMARY HOOD CABLE PLUS AN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED PLASTIC DUST SHIELD COULD RESULT IN SUDDEN OPENING OF THE HOOD WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.

CORRECTION: PLASTIC DUST COVER WILL BE DISCARDED, AN IMPROVED \(CORROSION RESISTANT\) PRIMARY HOOD CABLE WILL BE INSTALLED AND HOOD LATCH MECHANISM WILL BE REPLACED AND LUBRICATED.
