## What is wrong

Ford Motor Company \(Ford\) is recalling certain 2025\-2027 F\-150 vehicles. The front seats may have been improperly secured to the vehicle.


## What can happen

An improperly secured seat may not adequately restrain the seat occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will inspect and tighten, or replace the front seat bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 26, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1\-866\-436\-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S74. Vehicle Identification Numbers \(VINs\) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on October 9, 2026.
