## What is wrong

Vermeer Manufacturing Company \(Vermeer\) is recalling certain 2002\-2026 BC1800XL brush chipper trailers. The hydraulic jack may extend unexpectedly.


## What can happen

An extended jack may contact the ground while driving, causing a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of injury or a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will repair the hydraulic jack, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Vermeer customer service at 1\-800\-829\-0051 ext. 7060. Vermeer's number for this recall is IK4837.
