## What is wrong

Lucid USA, Inc. \(Lucid\) is recalling certain 2024\-2025 Air vehicles equipped with rear\-wheel drive. The Gen 4 inverter may experience internal friction and become damaged, causing a loss of drive power.


## What can happen

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

Lucid will release an over\-the\-air \(OTA\) software update to continually inspect for an inverter failure. If a failure is detected Lucid will replace the inverter, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 8, 2026. Owners may contact Lucid at 1\-888\-995\-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR\-26\-05\-0.
