## What is wrong

Isuzu Motors Limited \(Isuzu\) is recalling certain 2025\-2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 5500XD, 4500XD, Isuzu NRR, NPR HD, NPR XD, 2025\-2027 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 4500HD, and Isuzu NRR EV vehicles. The chassis and/or cab wire harnesses may chafe against metal components, leading to harness failure.


## What can happen

Harness failure may cause an engine stall or the brake lights and parking brake to fail, increasing the risk of a crash. Damaged wires may also melt, increasing the risk of a fire.


## The remedy

Dealers will add additional fasteners, inspect and replace the harnesses as necessary, free of charge. This is a Phased campaign. Phase 1 will include NRR EV vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2026 to NRR EV owners. Phase 2 will include Isuzu N\-Series and Chevrolet LCF Series vehicles. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026 to Isuzu N\-Series owners. Phase 3 will include Chevrolet LCF Series owners. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2026 to Chevrolet LCF Series owners. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1\-866\-441\-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V2602.
