## What is wrong

Bombardier Recreational Products \(BRP\) is recalling certain 2025 Can\-Am Origin and Pulse electric motorcycles.  The breather valve may not seal properly and allow moisture or water to enter the high voltage battery.


## What can happen

Water in the battery can result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.  In addition, this could lead to a battery fire when parked or riding, increasing the risk of injury.


## The remedy

Dealers will install a new protection plate or replace the breather valve if necessary, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2025.  Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1\-888\-272\-9222.
