What is wrong

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. The cover for the right-side lower knee air bag may come loose, allowing the air bag cushion to unfold.

What can happen

An improperly folded air bag may not deploy as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

The remedy

Dealers will replace the right-side lower knee air bag module, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed June 6, 2025. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N978.

Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or go to nhtsa.gov.
