## What is wrong

BMW of North America, LLC \(BMW\) is recalling certain 2025 X4 xDrive 30i, X4 M40i and X4 M vehicles.  The inner\-left roof frame near the head air bag may have a crack that can damage the head air bag during deployment.


## What can happen

An air bag that is damaged during deployment can increase the risk of injury in a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will inspect and if necessary, repair the inner\-left roof frame, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed January 28, 2025.  Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1\-800\-525\-7417.
