## What is wrong

Nikola Corporation \(Nikola\) is recalling certain 2022\-2023 Tre BEV vehicles.  A resistor may degrade, causing the instrument panel to fail.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Control and Displays."


## What can happen

An instrument panel that fails to display critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will replace the instrument panel, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed December 4, 2024.  Owners may contact Nikola customer service at 1\-888\-268\-1181.  Nikola's number for this recall is 24VDC0903.
