## What is wrong

Vermeer Manufacturing Company \(Vermeer\) is recalling certain 2015\-2022 BC900XL brush chipper trailers.  The service and maintenance manuals list the incorrect lug nut torque value.


## What can happen

Improperly tightened lug nuts can result in a loose or detached wheel, increasing the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

Vermeer will provide a remedy kit with a new manual, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed July 11, 2024.  Owners may contact Vermeer customer service at 1\-800\-829\-0051, ext. 7060.  Vermeer's number for this recall is IK4561.
