## What is wrong

Lamborghini \(Automobili Lamborghini\) is recalling certain 2023\-2024 Urus Performante and Urus S vehicles. The hood latch striker may separate and fail, resulting in an unlatched hood that can open or detach while driving.

## What can happen

A hood that opens while driving can detach and become a road hazard, or obstruct the driver's view, increasing the risk of a crash.

## The remedy

Dealers will inspect and repair the hood, and install a striker support plate if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 12, 2024. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1\-866\-681\-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636\-R.02.24.

## Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1\-888\-327\-4236 \(TTY 1\-800\-424\-9153\), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.
