What is wrong

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Aurora ART26BHS travel trailers. The breakaway switch may be incorrectly wired, preventing the breakaway switch from activating if the trailer detaches from the tow vehicle.

What can happen

A breakaway switch failure increases the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Dealers will rewire the breakaway switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-541-995-34477. Forest River's number for this recall is 64-1776.
