## What is wrong

General Motors \(GM\) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV vehicles.  An incorrect seat belt bezel on the second\-row center seat belt may damage or tear the seat belt in the event of a crash.


## What can happen

A torn or damaged seat belt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.


## The remedy

Do not allow passengers to sit in the second\-row center seat until remedied.  Dealers will replace the second\-row center seat belt bezel, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2024.  Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1\-800\-222\-1020.  GM's number for this recall is N242430730.
