## What is wrong

Daimler Trucks North America, LLC \(DTNA\) is recalling certain 2023 Freightliner M2 vehicles.  The driveshafts can break under certain loading conditions.


## What can happen

A broken driveshaft can separate and cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will replace the driveshafts, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed November 30, 2023.  Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1\-800\-547\-0712.  DTNA's number for this recall is FL980.
