## What is wrong

Daimler Trucks North America, LLC \(DTNA\) is recalling certain 2022 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles.  The emergency braking system may not engage, resulting in the loss of braking ability.


## What can happen

A loss of braking ability can increase the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will install a double check valve, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed December 22, 2022.  Owners may contact DNTA customer service at 1\-800\-547\-0712.  DTNA's number for this recall is FL\-941.
