## What is wrong

Vermeer Manufacturing Company \(Vermeer\) is recalling certain 2021 BC900XL, BC1000XL, and BC1200XL brush chippers.  The chipper discharge chute may separate, and fall off the trailer.


## What can happen

A separated chipper discharge chute can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of injury or crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will install a field remedy kit, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed on October 21, 2021.  Owners may contact Vermeer's customer service at 1\-800\-829\-0051 ext. 7060.  Vermeer's number for this recall is IK4126.
