## What is wrong

Mack Trucks, Inc. \(Mack\) is recalling certain 2022 Medium\-Duty Trucks.  The spring hanger brackets on the front suspension may have loose bolts.


## What can happen

Loose suspension bolts can detach, possibly resulting in a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

Dealers will tighten the spring hanger bracket bolts, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed on August 17, 2021.  Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1\-800\-866\-1177.  Mack's number for this recall is SC0428.
