## What is wrong

Daimler Vans USA, LLC \(DVUSA\) is recalling certain 2019 Mercedes\-Benz Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles.  The affected Sprinter vehicles from platform 907 \(VS30\) might have an open port on the fuel delivery module \(fuel pump\).


## What can happen

An open port on the fuel pump module may result in fuel leaking onto the roadway, increasing the risk of a crash.


## The remedy

DVUSA will notify owners, and dealers will check for the additional nozzle on the fuel pump and install a closure onto the nozzle as needed, free of charge.  The recall began September 18, 2020.  Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1\-800\-367\-6372.  MBUSA's number for this recall is VS3KRASTUF.
