## What is wrong

Arcimoto Inc. \(Arcimoto\) is recalling certain 2019\-2020 FUV motorcycles.  The traction\-power harnesses large\-gauge cable\-lugs may be improperly crimped.


## What can happen

Improperly crimped cable lugs can cause loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.  In addition, it can also cause localized high heat and arcing, increasing the risk of fire.


## The remedy

Arcimoto will notify owners and will replace the traction\-power harnesses, free of charge.  The recall began March 24, 2020.  Owners may contact Arcimoto customer service at 1\-541\-683\-6293.
