A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

- Published by: NHTSA \(United States\)
- Campaign number: 18V759000
- Manufacturer's number: UB3
- Manufacturer: Chrysler \(FCA US LLC\)
- Reported: 2018\-10\-29
- Owners notified: 2018\-11\-15
- Component: EQUIPMENT:ACCESSORY:FLOOR MAT
- Units potentially affected: 4822

## What is wrong

Chrysler \(FCA US LLC\) is recalling certain 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Street and Racing Technology \(SRT\) and Trackhawk vehicles. The driver's floor mat may have insufficient clearance between the mat and the accelerator pedal, possibly preventing the pedal from returning to the idle position.

## What can happen

If the floor mat prevents the accelerator pedal from returning to idle, there would be an increased risk of a crash.

## The remedy

Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace any of the affected floor mats, free of charge. The recall began November 15, 2018. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1\-800\-853\-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is UB3.

## Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1\-888\-327\-4236 \(TTY 1\-800\-424\-9153\), or go to www.safercar.gov.
