## What is wrong

ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, THE NUT THAT RETAINS THE STEERING WHEEL MAY NOT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.


## What can happen

IF THE RETAINING NUT WAS NOT INSTALLED, THE STEERING WHEEL MAY COME OFF, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.


## The remedy

DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE HORN BUTTON TO CONFIRM THAT THE RETAINING NUT WAS INSTALLED.  A RETAINING NUT WILL BE ADDED IF THE NUT IS MISSING.   THE RECALL BEGAN ON  FEBRUARY 12, 2007.  OWNERS MAY CONTACT MACK TRUCKS AT 800\-866\-1177.
