## What is wrong

ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE REAR DRAG LINK\-THROUGH BOLT MAY BEND AND, IF NOT REPLACED OR OVERLOADED, MAY FRACTURE CAUSING THE REAR TIRE TO CONTACT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE REAR MUDGUARD.


## What can happen

THIS COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.


## The remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL A HIGHER GRADE NUT THAN THE ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENT AND A SINGLE\-THROUGH SLEEVE \(THE ORIGINAL DESIGN INCLUDED 3 SEPARATE SLEEVES\).  THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 5, 2007.  OWNERS MAY CONTACT TRIUMPH AT 1\-678\-854\-2010.
