# Recalls that may apply to the 2022 Yamaha MT\-10

- [25V248000](/recalls/nhtsa/25V248000.md), 2025-04-16: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:THROTTLE:THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR \(TPS\); ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE \(ECU/ECM\):SOFTWARE. Pure Sports Distributing Inc. \(Yamaha of Hawaii\) is recalling certain 2022 MT\-09 Tracer GT, 2021\-2025 MT\-09 SP, 2021\-2025 MT\-09, 2022\-2023 and 2025 MT\-10 SP, 2022\-2024 MT\-10 and 2022\-2024 XSR900 motorcycles.  The brushes inside the Throttle Position Sensor \(TPS\) may slide excessively due to improper ECU programming, possibly causing unstable idling or an engine stall.

- [2025059](/recalls/tc/2025059.md), 2025-02-11: Engine. Issue: On certain motorcycles, a software problem could cause damage to the throttle position sensor. This could lead to an unstable idle, engine hesitation or the engine could stall. Note: This recall replaces recall M23\-008 \(Transport Canada recall no. 2023\-339\). Vehicles that received a software update under that recall also require this repair.  Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.  Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to update the engine control unit \(ECU\) software and replace the throttle position sensor assembly.
