TJ26745.13.1-2012019-03-25. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Effective immediately, all 12V batteries may be tested using the hand held battery tester 9513030 (BT3300). The VIDA test is still available but no longer required. For battery replacements under warranty, the code generated by the BT3300 must be manually copied into the repair order text. It must also be printed and attached to the hard copy of the repair order.

If a replacement of the fuel pump unit in the fuel tank is performed, an updated method in VIDA is released. Additional parts (1 clip part number: 31478993 and 1 part number 999574 cable tie) needs to be ordered to be able to perform the method as stated above. This is to ensure that the harness is positioned correctly towards vehicle body to prevent chafing of harness.
