TJ34141.1.0-20182019-03-25. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. This is a Technical Journal: Performing a Total Upgrade, Service 2.0 or PDS Upgrade after the 2018 week 40 software release, will reset the sound settings back to default settings on the MY 2016 - 2018 vehicles listed above. The new software packages contain updated IHU software that will reset all customer sound settings such as treble, bass, balance and equalizer settings which will go back to default settings after the upgrade. For reference, please see attached example picture “Sound.jpg”. This applies to ALL driver profiles saved in the IHU. The VIDA IHU Diagnostic Sequences for Enabling the “Export profile to USB” menu will function after this upgrade.

Service: Do not replace any parts or perform any fault-tracing. The fix will be in the Software upgrade package at the dates stated below: *- 2018 week 19 there is a software release for XC90, S90, V90 built from and including structure week 201746. *- 2018 week 22 there is a software release where the fix is included for the XC40, new XC60, XC90, S90, V90 built before structure week 201746. * Please perform a Total Upgrade in accordance with TJ 31543.

Instructions below: Windows7/Windows 10: 1. Close VIDA. 2. Go into the Control Panel 3. Go into Program and Features - Uninstall program 4. Locate "Adobe SVG viewer" and uninstall it 5. Ignore any error message that might occur due to compability issues. 6. Start VIDA and try again.
