To protect the throttle housing when using Volvo Car Showmode kit in the specified cars, always remove the connector from the throttle housing (see picture 34206.jpg) A new software for the BRIGO device is under development to avoid this damage. Make sure that the BRIGO device always updated with the latest software.
TJ26745.13.1-2012019-03-25. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Effective immediately, all 12V batteries may be tested using the hand held battery tester 9513030 (BT3300). The VIDA test is still available but no longer required. For battery replacements under warranty, the code generated by the BT3300 must be manually copied into the repair order text. It must also be printed and attached to the hard copy of the repair order.

TJ32958 1 1-20172018-02-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL:AUTOMATIC (ASC); BACK OVER PREVENTION. This is a Technical Journal: A whining or rattling sound may appear when revving up the engine. ( see attached sample files ). The sound may come from the balance shaft which is fitted in the oil sump area where the noise is most concentrated. A new design of the balance shaft is planned to be introduced 2018-Q2. Replace the balance shaft according the instructions in VIDA. Note: It's extremely important to adjust the new balance shaft with the correct tools according the instructions otherwise the sound may occur again in a short mileage.

TJ3176240-2017-02018-01-22. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. This is a Technical Journal: Sensus Navigation. IAM 2.1 software upgrade to allow map upgrade via USB. There is a new process for upgrading maps on cars with Sensus (IAM2.1) navigation. Map updates for Sensus navigation systems in MY2011-2015A cars (identified as shown in attached picture) can now be downloaded online and transferred to the car via a USB flash drive in the same way as current models. Updating via DVDs is no longer possible. This Technical Journal informs the technician how to perform the software upgrade. Service: To allow map upgrades via USB, the IAM software must be upgraded to the latest status. Before starting the IAM software upgrade, secure following: - The Volvo USB stick must be formatted to FAT32. The 64GB Volvo USB stick formatted to exFAT or NTFS will not work. -

If the vehicle is equipped with indirect tire pressure monitoring sensors (I-TPMS) (VDN codes: PU02, PU03, PU04), and there is a warning message in the DIM about Low tire pressure and DTC BCM-C007768, follow advice under Service.

The oil may leak due to a crack in the plug from the VVT pulley Replace both plugs in both VVT-pulleys according to the attached instruction. Plug PN:31375877 If the timing belt is effected with oil , replace the timing belt according to VIDA instructions.

The pop-up window example, in the attachment, will be shown 14 days prior to the expiraton date.
