Special Tool Bulletin No.190 stated Volvo would request the return of the tool when the service campaign had ended, and that a credit would be issued. This tool is not designed or intended to be used for any other repairs. Incorrect use of this tool may result in damage to the A/C system of the vehicle, and therefore will not be covered under Warranty.

The blistering of the material is often caused by an air freshener applied directly to the air vents. Do not attach any sort of air freshener directly on air vents.
