This is a Parts Bulletin: 12 Volt support batteries, part number 30659531 must be maintained 9 months from the month of manufacture and every 9 months thereafter.To maintain the battery, connect the battery to an appropriate 12V battery charger. Please follow all precautions that apply when charging a larger main lead-acid battery. The battery will self-discharge over time and if allowed to be left at a sufficiently low voltage, it will become permanently damaged. The battery must have a minimum voltage of 9 volts to be installed in a vehicle.

To protect the throttle housing when using Volvo Car Showmode kit in the specified cars, always remove the connector from the throttle housing (see picture 34206.jpg) A new software for the BRIGO device is under development to avoid this damage. Make sure that the BRIGO device always updated with the latest software.
TJ26745.13.1-2012019-03-25. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Effective immediately, all 12V batteries may be tested using the hand held battery tester 9513030 (BT3300). The VIDA test is still available but no longer required. For battery replacements under warranty, the code generated by the BT3300 must be manually copied into the repair order text. It must also be printed and attached to the hard copy of the repair order.

TJ32958 1 1-20172018-02-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL:AUTOMATIC (ASC); BACK OVER PREVENTION. This is a Technical Journal: A whining or rattling sound may appear when revving up the engine. ( see attached sample files ). The sound may come from the balance shaft which is fitted in the oil sump area where the noise is most concentrated. A new design of the balance shaft is planned to be introduced 2018-Q2. Replace the balance shaft according the instructions in VIDA. Note: It's extremely important to adjust the new balance shaft with the correct tools according the instructions otherwise the sound may occur again in a short mileage.

If the vehicle is equipped with indirect tire pressure monitoring sensors (I-TPMS) (VDN codes: PU02, PU03, PU04), and there is a warning message in the DIM about Low tire pressure and DTC BCM-C007768, follow advice under Service.

The oil may leak due to a crack in the plug from the VVT pulley Replace both plugs in both VVT-pulleys according to the attached instruction. Plug PN:31375877 If the timing belt is effected with oil , replace the timing belt according to VIDA instructions.
