- [26V671000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V671000.md), 2026-10-09: SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:HEAD RESTRAINT. Volvo Car USA, LLC \(Volvo Car\) is recalling certain 2025\-2026 EX30 and 2026 EX30CC vehicles. The head restraint cushion may detach during a crash. Built from 2023\-09\-04.
- [26V136000](/recalls/nhtsa/26V136000.md), 2026-03-11: SEAT BELTS:FRONT:WARNING LIGHT/DEVICES. Volvo Car USA, LLC \(Volvo Car\) is recalling certain 2025\-2026 EX30 and 2026 EX30CC vehicles. The seat belt warning system may not activate the audible warning chime as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Built from 2025\-08\-14.

The high\-voltage battery may experience a short circuit and overheat. Built 2024\-09\-06 to 2025\-10\-25. **NHTSA advises: park outside, away from buildings, until the repair is done.**

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2026111](/recalls/tc/2026111.md), 2026-03-11: Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, electrical connections for the audio module could become damaged. As a result, the seat belt reminder chime may not work when your seat belt isn't buckled. Canadian regulations require a seat belt reminder sound when a driver isn't wearing their seat belt. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with the Premium Sound option.  Safety Risk: A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.  Corrective Actions: Volvo will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the damaged audio module terminals.
- [2026078](/recalls/tc/2026078.md), 2026-02-20: High Voltage. Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high\-voltage battery. As a result, the high\-voltage battery cells could short circuit. Note: This problem would cause a warning message to be displayed in the instrument panel.  Safety Risk: A short circuit in the high\-voltage battery can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.  Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Volvo advises that you should limit the vehicle's maximum state of charge to no more than 70% until the recall repairs have been completed. Volvo will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and replace battery modules, as necessary.
- [2026001](/recalls/tc/2026001.md), 2026-01-02: High Voltage. Issue: On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high\-voltage battery. As a result, the high\-voltage battery cells could short circuit. Note: This problem would cause a warning message to be displayed in the instrument panel.  Safety Risk: A short circuit in the high\-voltage battery can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.  Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Volvo advises that you should set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 70% and that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed. Volvo will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
