This can be accomplished by selecting the test plan through GFF or through Vehicle Self Diagnosis in adaptation channel 99. Failure to deactivate factory mode will create a concern where the door locks will not lock and/or unlock with the switch and/or the remotes.

On MY 13 and older vehicles equipped with an MDI, the software level of the MDI must be at or above SW 240 (see Technical Bulletin 2024337) in order to be fully functional.
