- [15V483000](/recalls/nhtsa/15V483000.md), 2015-08-04: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. \(Volkswagen\) is recalling certain model year 2010\-2014 Volkswagen CC, and Passat, 2010\-2013 Eos, 2011\-2014 Golf, GTI, Jetta, and Tiguan, and 2012\-2014 Jetta Sportwagen vehicles.  In the affected vehicles, debris may contaminate the air bag clock spring, a spiral wound, flat cable that keeps the air bag powered while the steering wheel is being turned.  This contamination may tear the cable and result in a loss of electrical connection to the driver's frontal air bag. Built 2010\-05\-03 to 2011\-06\-15.
- [14V441000](/recalls/nhtsa/14V441000.md), 2014-07-21: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. \(Volkswagen\) is recalling certain model year 2009\-2014 Tiguan vehicles manufactured July 2007 to June 2014.  When using winterized fuel, in certain conditions bubbles may form in the fuel system which could result in the vehicle stalling. Built 2007\-07\-01 to 2014\-06\-30.
- [13V569000](/recalls/nhtsa/13V569000.md), 2013-11-22: EXTERIOR LIGHTING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. \(Volkswagen\) is recalling certain model year 2009\-2011 Tiguan vehicles manufactured July 2007 through June 2011.  Due to a problem with the fuse for the exterior lights, the holder for the fuse that controls the vehicle's exterior lights circuit may melt. Built 2007\-07\-01 to 2011\-06\-30.

- [2015344](/recalls/tc/2015344.md), 2015-07-31: Seats And Restraints. On certain vehicles, the steering wheel clock spring could become contaminated with long hair or long fibers which may cause a displacement of the internal guide loops.  When the guide loops are dragged out of position, they may apply tension to the internal flat cable and cause it to tear.  Should the cable tear, the electrical connection to the driver's front airbag may be lost, causing the airbag monitoring indicator light to illuminate.  Failure of the driver's airbag to deploy during a crash \(where deployment is warranted\) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant.  Correction: Dealers will install a cover of a different design to help prevent clock spring contamination caused by hair or other fibers. In instances where the vehicle has an airbag light on \(and diagnosis confirms the steering wheel clock spring requires replacement\), dealers will install a new steering wheel clock spring.
- [2014307](/recalls/tc/2014307.md), 2014-07-22: Fuel System. On certain vehicles, deposits may collect on fuel pump connections and reduce fuel pump performance. This could cause the engine to stall, resulting in a loss of motive power and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update vehicle software to increase fuel pump pressure in order to prevent deposits from forming.
- [2013403](/recalls/tc/2013403.md), 2013-11-13: Electrical. On certain vehicles, a fuse can overheat and damage the fuse box, causing a partial loss of exterior vehicle lighting. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a fuse of an updated design.
