- [20V533000](/recalls/nhtsa/20V533000.md), 2020-09-02: AIR BAGS:PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL:CUSHION. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. \(Volkswagen\) is recalling certain 2020 Passat vehicles.  The passenger frontal air bag may have been folded incorrectly affecting its deployment force.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
- [19V389000](/recalls/nhtsa/19V389000.md), 2019-05-22: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. \(Volkswagen\) is recalling certain 2012\-2020 Volkswagen Passat and 2018\-2019 Atlas vehicles.  The blocking cap disabling the adjustment of the headlight's horizontal aim may not have been installed.  As such, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(FMVSS\) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Built 2018\-10\-17 to 2018\-12\-19.
- [19V218000](/recalls/nhtsa/19V218000.md), 2019-03-20: AIR BAGS:SIDE/WINDOW. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. \(Volkswagen\) is recalling certain 2019 Atlas and 2020 Passat vehicles.  An incorrect driver and/or front passenger side impact air bag may have been installed. Built 2018\-10\-31 to 2018\-10\-31.

- [2020412](/recalls/tc/2020412.md), 2020-09-02: Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, the passenger\-front airbag may not have been folded properly. As a result, the airbag may inflate with too much force in a crash where the airbag deploys.  Safety Risk: An airbag that inflates with too much force could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.  Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the passenger\-front airbag.
