- [2020502](/recalls/tc/2020502.md), 2020-10-21: Fuel System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel rail bolts could become loose over time. If this happens, there could be a fuel odour or fuel leak in the engine compartment. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel rail bolts and, if necessary, replace the fuel rail.
- [2020353](/recalls/tc/2020353.md), 2020-08-04: Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the warning label for the engine block heater cable is written in English only. As a result, a French user may not receive important safety information about how to use the engine block heater. A label that is not provided in both official languages could create confusion. Safety Risk: User confusion could increase the risk of injury when trying to use the block heater. Corrective Actions: The company will mail each owner a new label for the block heater cable. If you would like help installing the label, you can contact a dealer for assistance.
- [2019423](/recalls/tc/2019423.md), 2019-08-22: Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, a build\-up of silicate on the shift lever switch could cause the transmission to detect that it is in the Park position when it isn't. This could allow the ignition key to be removed when the transmission is not in the Park position. If the parking brake is not applied, this could allow the car to roll away. Safety Risk: If the transmission position is not displayed correctly, a user may not know that the vehicle is not in the PARK position. If the parking brake is not applied, this could create a risk of a vehicle roll\-away and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have a new shift lever micro switch and control unit installed.
- [2017112](/recalls/tc/2017112.md), 2017-03-02: Label. Certain vehicles may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The tire information label may have incorrect vehicle load rating values. This could result in vehicle overloading, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will apply a revised label. Note: This recall affects Jetta GLI models only.
- [2017111](/recalls/tc/2017111.md), 2017-03-02: Label. Certain vehicles may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. Correction: Dealers will apply a revised label.
- [2017052](/recalls/tc/2017052.md), 2017-02-03: Engine. On certain vehicles, improper casting of the engine block may cause the engine to seize/lock up. A seizing engine may lead to a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Affected vehicles will be bought back from the owner. If the owner refuses, a replacement engine will be installed.
