TRIUMPH IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011\-2012 SPRINT GT, TIGER 800 AND TIGER 800 XC MOTORCYCLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 2010 THROUGH JUNE 2011.  THE TOP BOX LOCKING HANDLE IS MISSING A CLIP ON THE LOCKING MECHANISM AND THUS IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE TOP BOX MAY DETACH FROM THE MACHINE. Built 2010\-06\-01 to 2011\-06\-30.

- [2011317](/recalls/tc/2011317.md), 2011-08-23: Accessories. On certain Triumph Tiger 800, Tiger 800 XC and Sprint GT motorcycles, the accessory top box may not be adequately affixed to its carriage and could detach from the vehicle.  A top box separating from the vehicle could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury.  Correction: Dealers will install a locking clip onto the top box latch mechanism.
