TRIUMPH IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2005 THROUGH 2009 SPRINT ST 1050 MOTORCYCLES MANUFACTURED FROM NOVEMBER 4, 2004 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2009.  THE REAR SUSPENSION DRAG LINK ASSEMBLY IN THESE MOTORCYCLES CAN FRACTURE DUE TO CORROSION. Built 2004\-11\-04 to 2009\-09\-25.

- [2009282](/recalls/tc/2009282.md), 2009-10-02: Suspension. On certain motorcycle, the rear suspension drag link assembly may fail, allowing the rear suspension to disconnect from the swing arm.  Should this occur, the motorcycle will drop down causing contact between the rear tire and the underside of the rear mudguard.  This could cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death.  Correction: Dealers will replace the drag link with an updated version.
