- [17V700000](/recalls/nhtsa/17V700000.md), 2017-11-06: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING. Triumph Motorcycles America, LTD \(Triumph\) is recalling certain 2016\-2017 Speed Triple R and Speed Triple S motorcycles.  A wire for the charging system may rub against a bracket for the ABS modulator, potentially resulting in an electrical short. Built 2016\-01\-23 to 2017\-10\-05.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2017548](/recalls/tc/2017548.md), 2017-11-07: Electrical. On certain motorcycles, over time, the link lead wire may chafe and wear against a bracket and could lead to an electrical short. This could result in an engine stall and/or a no\-start condition. Loss of propulsion could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the link lead wire, and reroute the wire to prevent contact with the bracket.
