Hazardous material treatment may require special training, certification or licensing in certain areas. TMS recommends that dealership personnel carefully review and follow ALL local and state regulations, and where necessary, contract with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Licensed Hazardous Waste Transportation and Disposal facilities.

Flash reprogramming allows the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) software to be updated without replacing the ECU. Flash calibration updates for specific vehicle models/ECUs are released as field-fix procedures described in individual Service Bulletins. This bulletin details the Techstream ECU flash reprogramming process and outlines use of the Technical Information System (TIS) and the Calibration Update Wizard (CUW). Flash calibration updates can only be applied to the vehicle/ECU combination for which they are intended. ECUs have internal security that will not allow them to be programmed with another ECU's information.

Toyota will initiate a Limited Service Campaign (LSC H0F) to apply Corrosion Resistant Compound to key areas of the vehicle?s frame for the following vehicles located in the 20 Cold Climate States1: ? Certain 2005 to 2010 Tacoma** - Available ? 2007 to 2008 Tundra ? Available ? 2005 to 2008 Sequoia ? Available. On May 21, 2017, a settlement of claims in a class action lawsuit regarding frame corrosion was finally approved. This finally approved class action settlement includes inspection of the customer?s frame, and if the frame meets or exceeds the Rust Perforation Standard based on the Court-ordered inspection criteria, the frame will be replaced at no cost to the customer.

Your dealership will be able to do so by (1) keeping a copy of this WVDAQ letter in your records for the H0F campaign and (2) following all instructions in the Dealer Information Packet.
