Service bulletins for the 2025 Toyota Sienna

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

T-SB-0061-23 Rev22025-01-09. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Toyota vehicles are currently protected with RapgardTM protective film designed to protect the horizontal painted surfaces. This material protects from acid rain, environmental fallout, and rail contamination. Follow the Removal Procedure in this bulletin to remove the RapgardTM protective film within 90 days from initial application.
T-SB-0062-23 Rev22025-01-09. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Vehicles may occasionally be subjected to contamination by airborne iron particles shed from railroad tracks, train wheels, exposure to heavy machinery facilities, grinding, welding, etc. This type of contamination can be identified by the presence of small, red or brown particles on the paint surface. These particles are often difficult to see on dark color paints but can be easily felt when brushing a hand across horizontal body surfaces such as the hood, roof, or deck lid. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to clean vehicles that may have been subjected to contamination by airborne iron particles such as rail dust during rail transportation or extended storage near industrial areas.
T-SB-0021-24 Rev22024-12-07. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and service life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. Electrified vehicles are equipped with two types of batteries, a High Voltage (HV) battery and a 12V battery. Conventional vehicles are equipped with only a 12V battery. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer’s responsibility to maintain the specified State-Of-Charge (SOC) of the vehicle’s battery while in stock and ensure proper SOC at delivery. To reduce customer service concerns due to an undercharged battery, ALL dealers should test the 12V battery and recharge, if necessary, no more than 48 hours before delivery to the customer.
T-SB-0089-242024-11-08. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) is a critical step in satisfying our new car customers. Customer feedback indicates the following areas deserve special attention when performing PDS: •Careful inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings. •Proper operation of electrical accessories (including interior light, clock, and radio reset). •Interior cleanliness. •Proper function of mechanical systems. Customer retention and proper maintenance of vehicles are and have always been a major focus for Toyota. To help remind customers that regular service is essential to the proper maintenance of the vehicle, dealers are required to install a service reminder sticker before delivery. By doing this, customers will be reminded to return to your dealership for service. Your current service reminder sticker may be used. (See PDS Check Sheet item 8 of “Final Inspection and Cleaning.”) This bulletin contains the PDS procedures that apply specifically to 2025 model year Sienna Hybrid vehicles. Refer to T-SB-0028-24, the universal Check Sheet that contains PDS steps that apply to all 2025 model year Toyota vehicles. To properly perform a complete PDS, you must complete all procedures contained in this TSB as well as the universal PDS Check Sheet.
