Service bulletins for the 2018 Toyota Sequoia
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| T-SB-0187-12_Rev | 2018-04-02. Service bulletin. TIRES. TSB: REVISION NOTICE February 12, 2018 Rev2: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2015 ? 2018 model year vehicles. January 23, 2014 Rev1: ? Applicability has been updated to include 2013 ? 2014 model year vehicles. Any previous printed versions of this bulletin should be discarded. Toyota vehicles are equipped with either conventional or run-flat tires. Sometimes punctures may occur as a result of contact with road debris or other hazards. If a puncture occurs, it may be possible to repair the tire and return it to service. With a conventional tire it is not possible to drive for an extended amount of time with the tire at low pressures as damage to the tire may occur. With run-flat tires, due to reinforced sidewalls, it is possible to drive for up to 100 miles at speeds less than 55 mph with little or no damage to the tire. The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (UTSMA) provides guidelines and recommendations for tire repair and replacement. It also provides information related to: ? Basic tire information ? Tire maintenance and safety ? Driver education, tire safety curriculum. |

| T-SB-0009-18 | 2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. TSB: The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to elevate awareness and provide best practices for leather and synthetic leather care in Toyota vehicles. | T-SB-0195-17 | 2018-04-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. TSB: A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As a matter of policy, Toyota does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharges and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer's responsibility to maintain the specific State-Of-Charge (SOC) of the vehicle's battery while in stock and assure proper SOC at delivery. |
| T-SB-0192-17 | 2018-04-02. Service bulletin. TIRES. TSB: During the manufacturing process, tires are mounted on the vehicle as matched sets to help reduce conditions such as pulling or drifting. If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation. Refer to the following procedure to ensure that the original tires stay in the same location on the vehicle. |

| H0Y_Dealer Packa | 2018-02-21. Service bulletin. AIR BAGS. Dealer Package: Updated 01/04/18 The subject vehicles are voluntarily equipped with an event data recorder (EDR). The EDR only collects, stores, and allows retrieval of vehicle event data, including crash events. It does not control the operation of the vehicle or crash safety systems. Due to a software error in the air bag ECU where EDR data is stored, the EDR data for ?Frontal Airbag Deployment, Time to 1st Stage Deployment,? and ?Frontal Airbag Deployment Time to 2nd Stage Deployment,? will show the same value at the time an event is recorded. This software error has no effect on the actual air bag?s deployment times for both stages. Both air bags operate as designed. |
