T-TT-0234-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Since MY 2011, several different update or upgrade USB SSTs have been issued for Toyota audio and navigation systems. Refer to the chart below for a comprehensive list of all current and previously issued USB SSTs and their applicability.

T-SB-0007-13 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) System require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB drive to update the map, points of interest, Gracenote, and system software. The SST is used with all the vehicles to deliver the update, however a unique Activation Number is required for each vehicle.
T-SB-0005-13 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Toyota models equipped with the Display Audio Navigation System require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB drive to update the map, points of interest, Gracenote, and system software. T-SB-0083-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. The procedure in this bulletin is a general guideline on how to properly diagnose the air conditioning system after a component failure. Refer to the applicable Repair Manual for vehicle specific repair procedures and parts.
T-TT-0257-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. iTunes Radio is a new feature for iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S, and 5C running iOS 7 or later. This feature does work with the in-vehicle audio system either via Bluetooth or by USB cable. Details on how to access this feature are described below.
T-TT-0256-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Customers using iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S, or 5C running iOS 7.0 or later now have the ability to make Facetime Audio calls (no video). When a customer is paired by Bluetooth Hands Free and they make a Facetime Audio call the vehicle radio will treat it as a typical Bluetooth phone call. Because Facetime works differently than a typical phone call, the in-vehicle experience may not meet the customer?s expectations.
T-TT-0199-12 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.. Some users may experience no sound from the Pandora or iHeartRadio Entune Applications after attaching the iPhone USB cable to the multimedia system. This can also occur if the user chooses the iPod selection on the multimedia system and then attempts to return to Pandora or iHeartRadio Entune Applications. This condition occurs with iPhones running iOS 6.0 and later.
T-TT-0250-13 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.. To receive satellite radio functions after the initial trial period has expired, the customer must enter into a contract with XM Satellite Radio Inc. After entering into a contract, registration of an 8-digit XM Radio ID is required. This 8-digit XM Radio ID is found by turning to channel ?0? of the satellite radio.
T-TT-0051-10 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. If a customer states there is an unpleasant odor in the vehicle from the HVAC system, there are various factors that may be involved.
T-TT-0251-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Some customers may experience A/C is inoperative with the DTC B1479 present. This can be caused by debris stuck in the flow control valve.
T-TT-0051-102018-04-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. If a customer states there is an unpleasant odor in the vehicle from the HVAC system, there are various factors that may be involved.
T-TT-0268-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. These concerns can be caused by changes made on the customer?s phone. Make sure to inquire with the customer if the connectivity concerns occurred after receiving an operating system update on their phone or they have restored their phone data/settings recently.
T-TT-0267-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Some vehicles equipped with Display Audio may exhibit a condition where the touch screen is inoperative.
T-TT-0260-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Customer?s experiencing this condition can use a 3rd party podcast application on their iPhone (such as Pocket Casts or Instances) instead of the native Apple Podcast application.

T-SB-0006-13 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) System will periodically require an update to the Gracenote® Database. Gracenote® includes detailed information for songs (i.e., Genre, Artist, Song Title, Album Name, etc.). The Gracenote® update will be included on the ?USB Drive Navigation Map Update? SST. A Gracenote® update must be performed before a Navigation Map Update. A Navigation Map Update is not required to complete the Gracenote® update. Use the process described in this bulletin to perform the update.

T-SB-0122-11 Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. AIR BAGS; SEATS; EQUIPMENT. Beginning in 1998, Toyota introduced side airbags as optional equipment. Toyota does NOT recommend replacement of original seat covers with non-Toyota leather or other seat cover materials on vehicles due to the following: Seat covers NOT recommended by Toyota may affect side airbag performance, in general or in part, during an accident. Modifications that negatively affect side airbag performance can result in severe occupant injuries. Seat covers are an integral part of this safety system. Replacing fabric seat covers with non-Toyota leather or other seat cover materials may compromise the effectiveness of this safety system. The design of the seat is complex, integrating safety and strength with comfort and luxury. Toyota strongly discourages modifying original equipment seats that have optional side airbags. Additionally, Toyota strongly advises against the installation or use of aftermarket seat covers, which could impair the performance of the side airbags in the event of an accident.
T-TT-0128-112018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. The Premium Display Audio type Entune system does not connect to the internet when using an iPhone.
T-TT-0240-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. When diagnosing audio, navigation, and Bluetooth concerns on Toyota vehicles equipped with Premium Display Audio with Entune, adhere to the guidelines listed below.
T-TT-0278-132018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). The customer is unable to delete their call history or contacts from the Denso GEN7 Navigation System. The ?delete? soft button on the multi-information display is greyed out and not selectable.
