TSB: When servicing interior electrical switches and components, please note the precautions in this bulletin to avoid damaging electrical components and switches. Many lubricants, cleaners, and automotive chemicals contain silicone or other compounds that may contaminate electrical contacts, and therefore increase electrical resistance and decrease switch performance. The use of any cleaners or fluids may increase the risk of further damage to electrical components.

TSB: Some 2004 - 2015 model year Toyota vehicles may exhibit odors naturally occurring from the HVAC system and/or related environmental factors. Although there is no way to eliminate these odors, follow the General Procedure in this bulletin to minimize the odors experienced.

T-SB-0036-152017-08-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). TSB: Some 2015 model year Prius V vehicles may exhibit an intermittently inoperative radio/navigation touch screen. The only way the touch controls are able to be recovered is to cycle the ignition or reboot the head unit. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to address this condition.
T-SB-0043-14 Rev2017-08-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. TSB: The Immobilizer and Smart Key Reset is a feature that allows the registration of new keys when all master keys are lost. Once the system is reset, all previously registered keys will be erased. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to reset a vehicle Immobilizer or Smart Key system. NOTE: There are new security provisions required to obtain a Reset Pass-Code. It is critical that the instructions for this new process are reviewed BEFORE attempting to get a Pass-Code in the new system.

Tech Tip: In some areas such as New York, taxi companies are required to install vinyl covers on or around the rear seat. When installing the vinyl cover near the rear seat, the HV Battery cooling system air inlet screen could be covered by mistake. Do not block the HV battery cooling system air inlet screen.

Install the Front Spoiler Under Cover and Rear Side Spoiler on the vehicle during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) using the following procedure.
T-SB-0133-142017-08-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. TSB: Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) System require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB drive to update the map, points of interest, Gracenote®, and system software. The SST is used with all vehicles to deliver the update, however a unique Activation Number is required for each vehicle. Activation Numbers are provided in an Activation Card Number (ACN) pamphlet available through the normal parts ordering system.
T-SB-0006-13 Rev2017-08-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. TSB: Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) System will periodically require an update to the Gracenote Database. Gracenote includes detailed information for songs (e.g., Genre, Artist, Song Title, Album Name, etc.) The Gracenote update will be included on the "USB Drive Navigation Map Update" SST. A Gracenote update must be performed before a Navigation Map Update. A Navigation Map Update is not required to complete the Gracenote update.

Proper operation of electrical accessories (including interior light, clock, and radio reset). ? Interior cleanliness. ? Proper function of mechanical systems. Customer retention and proper maintenance of vehicles has been a major focus for Toyota. To help remind customers that regular oil changes are essential to the proper maintenance of their vehicle, dealers are required to begin installing a first oil change reminder sticker prior to delivery. By doing this, customers will be reminded to return to your dealership for their first oil change. Your current oil change reminder sticker may be used. (See PDS Check Sheet item 9 of "Final Inspection & Cleaning.") A New PDS Check Sheet has been developed for the 2015 model year Prius V. Some check points have been added, expanded, or clarified.
