TSB: Some 2005 ? 2022 model year Toyota vehicles that have undergone water intrusion may exhibit a condition in which a musty smell is present. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to remediate the odor and address this condition. The purpose of this service bulletin is to provide general guidelines and procedures for odor remediation. This service bulletin provides a guide on how to prepare the interior of the vehicle prior to an odor remediation being performed, as well as contact information for an approved vendor who will arrange the remediation, and instructions on how to prepare the interior of the vehicle for reassembly once the remediation has been completed. Refer to all model and model year specific Repair Manuals and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) website for the most up-to-date safety and precautionary guidelines. TSB: TMNA Accessory Sales and Marketing has developed a Toyota paint protection film (PPF) decal (treated with a specially developed light adhesive) for 2019 ? 2020 model year Toyota vehicles. The decal comes in two sizes (2.8 in. x 8 in. and 4 in. x 8 in.) for small and large hoods and will be applied to the top of PPF for all series at TLS accessory installation facilities. The decal is intended to stay affixed to the film until delivery detail/wash. Just before customer delivery, follow the procedure in this Service Bulletin to remove the decal and any residue left by the adhesive. |

Customer feedback indicates the following areas deserve special attention when performing PDS: ? Careful inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings. ? Proper operation of electrical accessories (including interior light, clock, and radio reset). ? Interior cleanliness. ? Proper function of mechanical systems. Customer retention and proper maintenance of vehicles are and have always been a major focus for Toyota. To help remind customers that regular service is essential to the proper maintenance of the vehicle, dealers are required to install a service reminder sticker prior to delivery. By doing this, customers will be reminded to return to your dealership for service. Your current service reminder sticker may be used. (See PDS Check Sheet item 9 of ?Final Inspection and Cleaning.?)
