T-SB-0133-14 Rev2017-08-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). TSB: Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) System require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB drive to update the map, points of interest, Gracenote, and system software. The SST is used with all vehicles to deliver the update, however a unique Activation Number is required for each vehicle. Activation Numbers are provided in an Activation Card Number (ACN) pamphlet available through the normal parts ordering system. Use the process described in the bulletin to perform the update.

TSB: Some 2012 - 2014 model year Camry vehicles with a U760 transmission may exhibit a brief shudder intermittently while driving under light loads between approximately 40 - 80 kph (25 and 50 mph). The torque converter and Engine Control Module/ECM (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) logic have been modified to reduce the possibility of this condition occurring. Please follow the Repair Procedure below to address this condition.

TSB: When servicing interior electrical switches and components, please note the precautions in this bulletin to avoid damaging electrical components and switches. Many lubricants, cleaners, and automotive chemicals contain silicone or other compounds that may contaminate electrical contacts, and therefore increase electrical resistance and decrease switch performance. The use of any cleaners or fluids may increase the risk of further damage to electrical components.

T-SB-0156-14 Rev2017-08-14. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. TSB: Some 2013 - 2014 model year Camry vehicles equipped with the 2AR-FE engine may exhibit an intermittent service brake warning light "ON" condition. Customers may also notice the light will illuminate as the vehicle is being started, and some customers may notice a noise or feeling similar to the ABS activating during normal braking. The brake booster has been updated to address this condition.

TT: Some customers may encounter Bluetooth® connectivity concerns such as: * Difficulty to pair the phone. * Intermittent Bluetooth® failure to connect to the vehicle when first turning on the vehicle. * Various Bluetooth® Audio functions are no longer functioning with customer's phone such as ability to change the track using the steering wheel controls. These concerns can be caused by changes made on the customer's phone. Make sure to inquire with the customer if the connectivity concerns occurred after receiving an operating system update on their phone or if they have restored their phone data/settings recently.

TSB: While a vehicle is in inventory, the battery is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and life. Batteries can become discharged due to an extended storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, or while demonstrating vehicle features and benefits in the sales process. Battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As described in this bulletin, operating the engine for 30 minutes after 60 days in storage and every 30 days thereafter will help to maintain battery State of Charge (SOC). This process supplements other movements of the vehicle as it is staged, and has specific restrictions on how maintenance is to be done. Also described in this bulletin are 2 other approved methods for maintaining battery State of Charge.

TSB: FOR VEHICLES THAT ARE USED UNDER CERTAIN SEVERE OPERATING CONDITIONS, THE HV BATTERY COOLING FAN MAY EXHIBIT AN EXCESSIVE BUILDUP OF DUST, LINT, OR OTHER DEBRIS THAT CAN REDUCE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE HV BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM. HV BATTERY COOLING FAN MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING SHOULD BE PERFORMED TO ADDRESS THIS CONDITION.
