Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) system require a Special Service Tool (SST) USB drive to update the map, points of interest, Gracenote®, and system software. The SST is used with all vehicles to deliver the update; however, a unique activation number is required for each vehicle. Activation numbers are provided in an Activation Card Number pamphlet available through the normal parts ordering system.

Toyota models equipped with the Premium HDD Navigation (AVN/AW-EMV) system will periodically require an update to the Gracenote® database. Gracenote® includes detailed information for songs (genre, artist, song title, album name, etc.). The Gracenote® update will be included on the USB Drive Navigation Map Update SST. A Gracenote® update MUST be performed BEFORE a Navigation Map update. A Navigation Map update is NOT required to complete the Gracenote® update.
T-TT-0453-17-Rev2018-04-02. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. TT: Previously, an error message was received when performing DCM activation initiated by Techstream. This condition has been remedied, and DCM activation utilizing Techstream can now be resumed.

TSB: Some 2007 ? 2014 model year North American produced Camry and Camry HV vehicles may exhibit a condition where the fuel lid door will not open when pulling up on the fuel lid lock lever. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

This shudder may be observed while driving under light throttle conditions between approximately 25 ? 50 mph. Toyota has developed new Engine Control software logic to help prevent this condition from occurring.

The federal government issues café (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) credits to vehicle manufacturers that implement new technologies that reduce the carbon footprint of the vehicles they produce. GHC Logic technology works by automatically operating the HVAC system in REC mode when certain operating conditions are met, improving the A/C systems cooling efficiency and reducing the vehicle's C02 emissions.

TT: Safety Connect is a vehicle option which requires a subscription fee for the system to be active. The first year of service is provided in the vehicle purchase price. Once the subscription has lapsed the DCM will be in an inactive state. In some instances, a DCM may need to be replaced even though the customer is not using the service.

TMS recommends that dealership personnel carefully review and follow ALL local and state regulations, and where necessary, contract with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Licensed Hazardous Waste Transportation and Disposal facilities.
